Building permit granted

The building permit for the complete renovation of the H21 high-rise building on Landhausstrasse (H21) was issued on 30.10.2023. At the same time, all tenants who do not already have a fixed-term tenancy agreement were given notice of termination in due time. They will move out by 31 March 2024, until which time any vacant rooms will be available exclusively for employees of the Baar Care Centre and the cantonal hospital. Replacement flats during the construction period are reserved for employees of the Baar Care Centre and the cantonal hospital as well as hardship cases.

The first construction phase will begin on 2nd of April 2024, followed by the second construction phase, which is expected to be completed in April 2026. We will be happy to keep you up to date on the refurbishment.
